Description
It
is proposed to develop integrated solid waste processing sites at 4
cities i.e. Kota, Bikaner, Ajmer and Udaipur. The project would be
developed on public-private partnership format in private sector and
municipal solid waste would be converted into a useful commercial
product to be used as energy pellets in power plants. The viability
of setting up of a power plant, based on such fuel, would also be
ascertained.

Scope of Work
The
project envisages to develop and implement solid waste processing
plants to utilize municipal solid waste to produce Refused Derived
Fuel (RDF) in Rajasthan. The conversion process of garbage into
Fuel/Fluff would involve size reduction, solar drying/mechanical
drying, separation of combustible, final drying and grinding, and
finally Fluff/pelletisation. The fluff/pellets could be burned in
any closed environment, such as boiler, to produce power.
Support
from Government of Rajasthan
The municipalities shall provide their approvals on land,
water and power connections at the site
